6.1-magnitude earthquake hits Lushan in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan

An earthquake measured at a magnitude of 6.1 hit the city of Yaan in Lushan county in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan on June 1, 2022, according to the China Earthquake Networks Centre (CENC).
