In Cambodia, an innovative company is transforming discarded plastic bottles into durable broomsticks to tackle the country's plastic waste problem. Since March 2023, the warehouse operation has converted around 40 tonnes of plastic bottles into brooms. The initiative reduces pollution, supports local workers and provides a cost-effective alternative to imported broomsticks.
