Filipino turtle poachers become protectors in marine conservation push

Former turtle poachers have found themselves at the forefront of a conservation programme in the Philippines. The fishermen are now protectors of marine turtles, thanks to the non-profit Coastal Underwater Resource Management Actions (CURMA). One former poacher said education has helped him understand the value of saving rather than hunting the species.
