Bangladesh landslides kill at least 6 Rohingya refugees, force thousands out of camp shelters

At least six Rohingya Muslims including four children were killed and thousands have been forced out of temporary shelters, after landslides and flooding struck a refugee camp in southern Bangladesh. The incident happened July 27, 2021, amid heavy monsoon rains. Nearly one million Rohingyas who fled a 2017 military crackdown in neighbouring Myanmar now live in the border district of Cox's Bazar, the world's largest refugee settlement.
