Producers of the famous children's television show Sesame Street have unveiled Rohingya muppets created to help thousands of refugee children overcome the trauma of life in the world's largest refugee settlement in Bangladesh. Six-year-old twins, Noor and Aziz, will be featured in new Rohingya-language video segments that teach kids social and emotional skills as well as maths, science, and health and safety. In a December 16, 2020, statement, programme producer Sesame Workshop said the latest additions to a cast of famous characters including Elmo and Louie, will feature in new videos on the YouTube channel called Sesame Street International Social Impact.
