What fashion trends do you hope never make a comeback?While outgoing and cheerful, the vibrant disco-inspired fashion trends of 1970s America should remain in its decade. The excessive fabric and flashy colours were fun, but these extravagant outfits could not have been comfortable. But, hey, dress however you want. It’s your body.

The 1960s beehive hairdo should stay dead. I’m not sure what made women back then think this hairstyle was elegant, because in reality it just made them look silly. What were they trying to do? Hide a giant egg in their hair?

One fashion trend that I hope will never return is bell bottoms. They didn’t deserve all the hype because they weren’t comfortable and they looked strange.

Top 10: What can’t you live without?
High heels. They have been around for years, but women who have worn them know they’re painful. They can damage the feet and leave you exhausted at the end of the day. Women should wear formal shoes that are more comfortable to work.

Some fashion trends, like basically everything from the 1970s, should stay in the past.
One of the worst trends making something of a comeback is low-rise jeans. These are hard to pair with the right top, and they don’t create a flattering silhouette for most people. There’s so much variety, such as high-rise and mid-rise jeans, which are better options.

Neon-coloured clothes should never come back. People in the 1980s loved them. I didn’t think the colours went well together, and I prefer simple, comfortable, subtly-coloured outfits.

Denim on denim. It didn’t look good, was probably incredibly uncomfortable, should not have been a trend, and should never be a trend again.

The Lolita trend, which originated in Japan and spread all over the world, mainly through anime. Even though the trend claimed to imitate historical European fashion, I think that as far as aesthetics are concerned, such clothes did not look nice. People should dress according to the occasion.
