American demand for survival shelters has surged, with some experts attributing the trend to the Russia-Ukraine war. This, after Russia began its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, prompting fears the conflict might spiral out of control and spark another world war. Experts say people who install bunkers are usually worried about more than one scenario, with perhaps up to 10 possibilities that could cause them to prepare for the worst.
