Hong Kong fencer Cheung Ka-long returned home on August 2, 2024, after winning his second gold medal in the men's foil at the Paris Olympics. Fans woke up early to greet Cheung after he landed at Hong Kong International Airport just after 6am. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Cheung won Hong Kong’s only gold medal. He made history again on July 30, 2024, when he bagged another fencing gold in Paris.
