China’s domestically developed civilian passenger aircraft, the C919 and ARJ21, visited Hong Kong for the first time on December 11, 2023. The city’s Chief Executive, John Lee, welcomed the jets as they landed at Hong Kong International Airport. They will remain on display until December 17. The C919, China’s first domestically developed narrowbody passenger jet, is expected to perform a demonstration flight over Victoria Harbour on December 16.
