Underprivileged class bearing the brunt of Hong Kong’s rising inflation

A host of price hikes in everything from food to electricity rates and looming increases in transport fares in Hong Kong are squeezing the city’s poor. The Post spoke to two underprivileged women in the far-flung suburb of Sheung Shui in the New Territories, to understand how inflation is making even basic groceries unaffordable.
