HSBC’s lions back on display in Hong Kong after repair of New Year vandalism damage

HSBC’s iconic lion sculptures were returned to public view on October 22, 2020, for the first time in more than nine months. The statues, affectionately known as Stephen and Stitt, were partially restored after they were damaged by protesters in January during social unrest in Hong Kong.
