China considers mixing Covid-19 vaccine types to boost effectiveness

Chinese health authorities say they are exploring ways to increase the efficacy of Covid-19 vaccines made in the country, including possibly mixing different types of shots. Director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention Gao Fu said on April 10, 2021, that Beijing is also studying changes in the interval between doses, adjustments to the dosage or whether to give patients an extra jab.
