Singapore start-up says app can read vital signs via face scan in 45 seconds

A Singaporean start-up, Nervotec, has developed a smartphone app that it claims can scan a user’s heart rate, oxygen level, respiration rate and even stress level within 45 seconds. The app is undergoing reviews at Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority. However, some private companies in the city state are already using the app to monitor the health condition of their workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
