Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi said it will cooperate with authorities after a deadly crash involving its first car, the SU7 electric vehicle (EV). The car had its autonomous driving feature engaged when it was involved in the accident that killed three people in the central province of Anhui on March 29, 2025. The incident has sparked concern about the rapid proliferation of self-navigating systems in China.
