Relatives of passengers of flight MH370 have called for a resumption of the search for the missing plane more than nine years after it disappeared. Families attended a hearing on compensation claims, which got under way in the Chinese capital on November 27, 2023. The Malaysian Airlines aeroplane, en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people aboard, vanished on March 8, 2014. A four-year search and investigation that followed failed to determine the fate of the missing plane.
