Critics query green credentials of world’s second-largest hydroelectric dam after speedy build

The Baihetan Hydropower Station in southwest China is preparing to start operations on July 1, 2021. The power plant, which lies on the Yangtze’s Jinsha River, will provide renewable electricity to millions of people along its route.
