India held its first multinational air exercise in Sulur in southern Tamil Nadu from August 6 to August 14, 2024. The French Air and Space Force, alongside Nato partners Germany and Spain, took part in the largest-ever multinational air exercise in India. The “Tarang Shakti” exercise, which will be held in two phases, aims to promote international cooperation and strengthen collective security capabilities, according to the Indian Air Force.
