Terrorist attack survivor achieves top score on Afghan college entrance exam

A Hazara teenager who lost an eye in a deadly suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan on September 30, 2022, has achieved the top score in the country’s tough university entrance exams. Seventeen-year-old Fatima Amiri was among the 27 students injured in the attack at the Kaaj Higher Educational centre in the predominantly Hazara neighbourhood.
