The Philippines collected its first-ever gold medals in gymnastics, after 24-year-old Carlos Yulo won the men’s floor exercise on August 3, 2024 and the men’s vault a day later at the Paris Olympics. Yulo is only the second Olympic gold medallist from the Philippines.
