North Korea completed the construction of a new ice cream factory in the capital Pyongyang on October 27, 2022. The newly built Taesongsan Ice Cream Factory was personally ordered by the country’s leader Kim Jong-un to ‘improve people’s well-being’ amid a faltering economy and global sanctions.
