Last month, 37 students were honoured at the awards ceremony for the Student of the Year Awards, an annual event that celebrates Hong Kong’s secondary school students who have shown academic excellence and exceptional commitment to community service.
Organised by the South China Morning Post, and sponsored solely by The Hong Kong Jockey Club with support from the Education Bureau, this year’s awards featured the theme “Together we grow and achieve”. Following a year of challenges brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony was held at the Kowloon Shangri-La hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui on July 23.
