Burger King is trending online for its latest creation – a “cheeseburger” featuring 20 slices of cheese and no meat.

The cheese-filled concoction debuted in Thailand on July 9. The chain shared the new “The Real Cheese Burger” on its social media account, garnering thousands of comments, likes and shares. While many thought it was a joke, the popular restaurant wasn’t playing games with its new menu addition.

“Not for fun, this is for real!” says the Facebook post “carrying up to 20 slices of American cheese.”

In a viral video, customer Thanaporn Chatcharaporn holds up the burger showing that it’s bigger than her mouth. “The Real Cheese Burger” has no meat and no condiments of any kind. Foodies in Thailand have attempted to eat the burger, but most fell short, only being able to finish half of it.

Is giant isopod the next big ramen topping?

“It’s very salty. Almost too salty to eat,” says Chatcharaporn, as reported by Fox News. “The smell is also very strong. At the first bite, it gave me goosebumps, but I couldn’t finish the whole thing. I wanted to try it just to see what it was like.”

Travel writer Richard Barrow tried his hand at the trendy food, tweeting “I love cheese but I struggled eating even half of this “burger”. Maybe I should grill the other half? What do you think?”
