- Many people lack access to instruments, so if you have an old one you no longer use, consider giving it away
- The Music Children Foundation and Addoilmusic teach low-income kids how to play different instruments
Music can alleviate stress and paint vibrant hues of emotion and meaning into our lives. However, many people – especially those from underprivileged backgrounds – lack access to musical instruments.
If you have old musical instruments you no longer use or need, consider donating them. Not only can your donation brighten someone’s day, but it can also benefit the environment, as the various materials in an instrument can take a long time to decompose if sent to a landfill.
