Covid-19: Rio’s vendors suffer as Brazil cancels Carnival for the first time in more than 100 years

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced Brazil’s to cancel its annual Carnival for the first time in more than 100 years. It comes as the country is reeling from a second wave of coronavirus infections. Many vendors of carnival goods in Rio de Janeiro have fallen victim to the cancellation.
