Surveillance balloons monitor crowds at Tokyo Olympics

Japanese police are using balloons to patrol the Olympic Games. Balloons equipped with surveillance cameras can be seen hovering over Tokyo’s skyline to monitor the flow of people and detect suspicious activity during the events. They will be in operation until September 6, 2021.
