Travel diary: 14 days in quarantine in mainland China

South China Morning Post graphic artist Han Huang travelled from Hong Kong to the Chinese mainland to visit her family in late November 2020. But the journey became a trip unlike any she had taken before, because the nation was embroiled in a fight against a resurgence of the coronavirus pandemic. This is her story about navigating China’s strict border protocols and 14 days in quarantine.
