Singing along with their favourite singer and waving glow sticks, Chinese fans of Taylor Swift turned a normally quiet Beijing cinema into a place of celebration on February 3, 2024. The American pop sensation’s concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has become a hit in China since its release in December 2023. Although Swift will not perform in the country, “Swifties” in China hope to see their idol perform there some day.
