Five children and six parents were killed after a bus ploughed into a crowd in eastern China’s Shandong province on the morning of September 3, 2024, according to state media reports. Authorities said the bus was designated to carry pupils to and from school. Police have detained the bus driver, but the cause of the incident was not immediately clear.
