Dolce & Gabbana cancels Shanghai show after racist outburst on founder’s Instagram account

Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has cancelled its Shanghai show after Chinese celebrities and models boycotted it over foul remarks about China allegedly made by designer Stefano Gabbana on Instagram. The fashion giant’s latest campaign, ‘DG loves China’, also drew flak for showing a Chinese woman in a red D&G dress trying to use chopsticks to eat pizza, spaghetti and a giant version of cannoli, an Italian pastry.
