Singles’ Day sales: China’s annual shopping spree sets new record

Alibaba launched Singles’ Day shopping festival eight years ago. This year’s sales are set to hit a record US$25.3b on its e-commerce platforms. 


The event attracted more international brands this year and Alibaba integrated the online and offline customer experience in its new retail stores.
