Started in Hong Kong, cultivated seafood company Avant Meats plans to raise tens of millions of US dollars late this year to fund a 20 to 30-fold expansion of its pilot plant in Singapore. Carrie Chan, CEO and co-founder, said a tasting event held in November 2023 has boosted her confidence for the expansion.
