South Korean police are seeking charges against 23 municipal and police officials over a crowd crush that killed 159 revellers in Seoul on October 29, 2022. Investigators said they found that the officials failed to implement safety measures in the capital's Itaewon party district, and that some of them should face charges of negligence and involuntary manslaughter.
