US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met face-to-face for the second time on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. The leaders had a private meeting, accompanied only by their translators, for about 20 minutes before attending a dinner together with members of their delegations. The leaders will hold formal talks on February 28 that are aimed at making progress in North Korea’s denuclearisation process. Observers are looking for more tangible steps than the vague declaration made after their first summit in Singapore in June 2018.
