SCAD academic programmes consistently earn accolades from internationally recognised companies and organisations. SCAD undergraduate fashion programs were ranked No. 1 in the world for “Best Learning Experience” in 2016 by industry insider website, The Business of Fashion. The university’s motion media design programme was named No. 1 globally in 2017 for the second year in a row by The Rookies, an international competition known as “the Oscars for creative minds”. In addition, SCAD’s undergraduate and graduate interior design programmes have been ranked No. 1 six times since 2008 by DesignIntelligence, a company which honours university design programmes that prepare students for professional success.

Career preparation is woven into every fibre of the university. In fact, SCAD Hong Kong students are hired by Burberry Asia Ltd., Gensler, Leo Burnett Worldwide, L’Oréal, Nike, Pixar and more. According to a recent study, 98 percent of Spring 2016 SCAD graduates were either employed, pursuing further education or both within 10 months of graduation.

Collaborations with multinational companies and organizations, from Apple, Ogilvy & Mather and Saint Laurent Paris to MTR, Procter & Gamble and The Ritz-Carlton, allow students to work in authentic environments and to seek imaginative, practical solutions for real-world partners — leading to extraordinary portfolios and job opportunities.
