I like my life, thanks

That’s like asking someone if they want to die. In Jurassic Park, the dinosaurs are out of control and attack anyone – and I’d have no idea which ones are friendly and which ones are dangerous. After all, in this “theme park,” the dinosaurs are the predators, while people are the prey. In other words, I’m not too keen on risking my life.

Think of the gift shop

Is that even a question? Of course! Going to Jurassic Park would be a dream come true: just imagine touring the habitats of giant, flesh-eating lizards, quiet plant eaters, and being one with the Earth (from 65 million years ago). If Jurassic Park existed, we would find out so much more about dinosaurs – and let’s not forget about the incredible merchandise the park would be sure to have (dinosaur-shaped waffles, eggs, pancakes). Who knows: maybe with the power of genetic engineering we could make tiny dinosaur pets to have at home!

Sensible option

I would not visit Jurassic Park if it was real. Hasn’t anyone seen the movie? I’d probably be eaten by a ferocious dinosaur. I’d rather stay at home than risk my life, thanks.

Nice to meet you

Of course! Who wouldn’t want to interact with dinosaurs – and maybe make some new friends?

A memorable moment

If Jurassic Park opened, of course I would go! I would love to see the dinosaurs, who wouldn’t? It would be like an extreme safari. Even if I was eaten, it would still be a memorable way to go – being eaten by something that is supposed to be extinct!

Jolynn Ooi, 11, South Island School

As a person who values all her limbs and body parts, I would say that going to Jurassic Park would be a death wish. Dinosaurs are cool to look at, as long as it’s from the safety of a computer monitor (though I can’t guarantee the likelihood of death via Buzzfeed addiction).

Jane Chan, 14, Renaissance College Hong Kong

Conservation goals

I would definitely go; humans and dinosaurs co-existing side by side is great for conservation and education, which is exactly what we need right now. And who in their right mind wouldn’t want to see a real life T-Rex?

Belinda Ng, 16, South Island School

Isn’t it obvious?

Of course! Why do you even need to ask?! Dinosaurs are to die for, and I’d still be happy even if I ended up being eaten by these ginormous reptiles.

Vivian Lee, 17, Maryknoll Convent School

No fear of naps

If Jurassic Park were real, I’d definitely go. Just because a T-Rex escaped once or twice doesn’t mean that would always happen. And, no animal actually hunts for sport. So a velociraptor would not break your windshield to try and get you. I imagine they’d be napping, instead. Just think, it would be an amazing experience, to see real live dinosaurs – even if they were asleep.

Ady Lam, 11, Island School

Too much to do

Never! I wouldn’t wanna get eaten when I haven’t even pursued my dreams yet. I still have a lot I want to do!
