A hologram depicting a life-size policeman has been deployed in a park in the South Korean capital, Seoul, to boost public safety. Data suggests the three-dimensional image has been effective in preventing crime, with reports of criminal activities down by more than a fifth since its installation. Police say they now plan to deploy holograms in other areas.
