Chinese heater factories are making a killing as Europe prepares for winter amid gas shortage

Gas supply shortages in Europe triggered by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have triggered a huge surge in orders for electric heaters manufactured in China. Sales orders from the European Union rose more than 55 per cent year on year in the months between January and August of 2022, according to some dealers in China’s eastern province of Zhejiang.
