Kathleen Wong from Good Hope School shares about her social media break and what she has learned from it.

For Hongkongers, our lives have been upended by the unprecedented fifth wave of Covid-19. As students in the city brace themselves for school closures and some form of a citywide lockdown, we are inevitably spending more time on our phones and computers. But sometimes, we just need a break from staring at our screens.

We hear you.

So during the school suspension period, we offer a podcast for our readers, called Snack for the Soul. When you tune in, you can close your eyes for a few minutes and hear about how other students in the city are coping in such difficult times.

This bite-sized Friday podcast features a different Hong Kong student every episode. Each session offers a glimpse into their lives during the pandemic, as they share about something new they have learned.

This week, Kathleen Wong from Good Hope School talks about her social media break, and what she has learned from it.
