Hong Kong's two theme parks will be closed until the epidemic clears up.

Bad news if you were hoping to spend some of this extended Chinese New Year holiday at Disneyland Hong Kong or Ocean Park. Both theme parks announced on Sunday that they would be temporarily closed due to the coronavirus outbreak sweeping the mainland. No date for their reopening was announced. Shanghai Disneyland has also been closed for the same reason.

The closure supports general advice to avoid spending time in crowded places during the outbreak.

The death toll attributed to the virus so far has passed 100, with multiple mainland cities being quarantined, including Wuhan, the original starting point for the outbreak.
