Thrifting is a great way to spruce up your wardrobe while saving money and the environment.
Fast fashion brands often make cheap clothes meant to be worn a few times before being tossed in the bin, adding to the huge problem of waste and pollution. Buying second-hand clothes not only keeps them from going to the landfill, but also saves you money.
Luckily for you, Hong Kong has a fine selection of thrift shops that can spice up your wardrobe – you might even find one-of-a-kind pieces to treasure for a lifetime.
1. Mee & Gee
This place is known for its low prices and the “treasure-hunting” experience of shopping there. Their inventory is huge, and you could spend hours digging through their densely-packed racks. You might even find pieces imported from Japan and Korea. And with prices that start as low as HK$19.90, what’s not to like?
