Communities across Indonesia’s Sumatra island are facing a devastating reality after massive floods left more than 830 dead and hundreds missing. According to estimates from the United Nations, some 880,000 residents have been displaced by the Indonesian floods while communities in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka face disaster scenes of their own.
