Taiwanese actress and TV personality Barbie Hsu, also known as “Big S”, died on February 2, 2025, at the age of 48. Hsu made her debut in 1994 with her sister in the pop duo SOS before becoming a household name by playing Shan Cai in the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. In a statement, her sister Dee Hsu said the actress died from pneumonia triggered by a case of flu while she was visiting Japan.
