Robots waltz on stage with humans in China’s WorldSkills competition

Full-size humanoid robots danced gracefully with human partners.

More than a dozen robots joined humans in a dance performance at the opening ceremony of the WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai on Tuesday. The robots were not controlled remotely. Engineers instead used built-in sensors and cluster control to make the humanoids stay in formation with their human partners.
