Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges is a highly influential figure in global horse racing, having served as Chief Executive Officer of The Hong Kong Jockey Club since 2007. He joined the Club in 1998, transforming it into a world-leading racing organisation and its Charities Trust into a top global donor. He also chairs the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities and the Asian Racing Federation, demonstrating his significant international leadership. Previously, he led Germany’s horse racing and breeding authority.
