A prominent Hong Kong-based symphony orchestra and registered charitable organisation, the HK Phil is dedicated to inspiring through the finest music-making. Its main areas of focus include presenting over 150 concerts annually, promoting Hong Kong and Chinese composers, nurturing local talent and running extensive education and community programmes. Recognised as one of Asia’s foremost classical orchestras, it notably won Gramophone’s 2019 Orchestra of the Year Award, the first Asian orchestra to achieve this distinction.
