Anthony Joshua has returned to the gym as he continues his recovery from a car crash which killed two of his close friends.

The former world heavyweight champion was injured in the crash in Nigeria on December 29, which killed Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.

Joshua posted a video on Snapchat showing him working out, hitting pads, exercising and riding a stationary bike.

One of the clips carried the slogan “mental strength therapy”.

Joshua, who was born in Watford to Nigerian parents, was on holiday in the African country following his sixth-round knockout win over YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami on December 19.

Ghami was his strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele was a trainer.
