CTF Education Group’s ‘Kindervarsity’ hub promises a holistic K-12 education experience in the Greater Bay Area
- A new education hub in the Greater Bay Area is pioneering a three-pronged ‘Kindervarsity’ model
Most parents and educators agree that real-world experiences are essential when it comes to equipping the next generation with life skills that set the stage for their future success.
From making your bed in the morning to learning about your culture and heritage, when the right opportunities are presented, daily life can offer an abundance of lessons for every child.
Taking this one step further, CTF Education Group’s (CTFEG) new education hub in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) has merged the three core components of schooling, research and campus living to create a holistic K-12 education experience.
Consisting of schools, research centres and a boarding campus, the new “Kindervarsity” hub aims to drive a dynamic exchange of ideas, skills and resources in the GBA.
Under the Framework Agreement on Deepening Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation in the Development of the Greater Bay Area, city governments are encouraging cooperation and exchange among their educational institutions. Projects include setting up joint laboratories and research centres, and sharing and commercialising scientific research outcomes.
Just a 10-minute drive from Guangzhou South Railway Station – and an hour from Hong Kong via high-speed rail – the hub spans 100,000 square metres and boasts state-of-the-art facilities. The campus includes a music hall, 280-seat theatre, three competition-grade basketball courts, a 400-metre running track and football pitch, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, and an innovation centre outfitted with multipurpose maker spaces and studios.
