Primo Posto Ristoro

Get ready for more dolce vita as Primo Posto Ristoro doubles down on Milanese cuisine in Central. Built around “chef-driven food, generous hospitality and a vibrant sense of community”, the menu was designed by Florence native Gabriele Fusi to pay homage to time-honoured dishes such as cotoletta alla Milanese, Mondeghili meatballs and pumpkin gnocchi, all washed down with a bevy of classic Sbagliatos.

Jean-Pierre

Now open in Sheung Wan, Jean-Pierre is an homage to the quintessential Parisian bistro. Within art deco-inspired interiors by designer Melissa Collison is a menu of bistro classics executed by chef John Troupis. And it is all presented in the kind of maximalist style that would have made the late André Soltner proud – think sole meunière and poulet de Simone served from a guéridon trolley and you’re almost there already.

Mama Tiger

From Trattoria Felino founders Marcello Scognamiglio and Felix De Arriaga comes a Thai concept from left-field. Mama Tiger is a noodle eatery on quaint Kau U Fong that captures the buzzing energy of Bangkok. The menu was conceptualised by chef Thanit Changchai, formerly of Thong Smith, and features Wagyu boat noodles and khao soi curry chicken noodles that deliver authentic Thai flavour in spades.
