Belon

For a peek behind the curtain at Belon, chef Mina Güçlüer is hosting masterclasses that trade the dining room for the kitchen. The afternoon involves a rare behind-the-scenes tour, technical instruction and ingredient sampling, all aided by flowing champagne. Come 6pm, attendees segue into a multi-course dinner to feast on the fruits of their labour, complete with a four-glass wine pairing.

Quinary

Mixology stalwart Quinary continues its sensory studies with its latest menu, titled The Five Senses: Flavour. Shifting focus from texture to memory, the new eight-drink menu translates local anecdotes into complex cocktails. From a savoury homage to Temple Street’s mock shark’s fin soup (Soupreme) to a gin-based nod to Wong Tai Sin incense (Wish & Wonder), each concoction creates a liquid map of the city’s diverse heritage. It’s a cerebral yet drinkable tribute to local life.
