From now until January 14, make a stop at the Hong Kong Museum of Art to acquaint yourself with the Min Chiu Society, one of the most prestigious collectors’ groups in Hong Kong. To celebrate its 65th anniversary this year, the society has lent the exhibition more than 400 cultural relics selected from the collections of over 40 members. Covering Chinese painting and calligraphy, ceramics, bronzes, lacquerware, jades, bamboo carvings, furniture and snuff bottles, the exhibition spans the Bronze Age up to the 20th century.

The outlying islands are the stars of the latest cocktail menu at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour. With nine new libations, “Sip Trip: Ship & Sail” explores flavours such as shrimp paste in the Tai O Mary; mango mochi in a Cheung Chau-inspired recipe; and pineapple buns – plus their geological doppelgängers, the quartz monzonite boulders of Sharp Island – in the Tombolo Tides.
